Aston Martin Dragon 88 special editions introduced in Beijing

Features a 24-carat gold hood ornament

Aston Martin has unveiled the Dragon 88 special editions at the Beijing Motor Show.

Designed to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the models - a DBS Volante, Virage and V8 Vantage S - embrace the "mystical qualities of the dragon" which are "synonymous with power, strength and good luck."

As such, the cars will be offered in three colors and come equipped with a 24-carat gold badge on the hood. Other highlights include embroidered headrests, unique interior trim and special sill plates.

Production will be limited to 88 units, but there's no word on pricing.
